Obituary - Another jewel has crossed the river, Clara E. Peelle of the Otter Creek
neighborhood, the only daughter of Mr. LeRoy Peelle and wife, was born in Ohio in 1906 and
departed this life on November 6, 1910 at 11am, aged four years, three months and two
days. Edith, as she was called, was a sweet girl. She has gone to be with God; where there
is no more sorrow or tears, pain or death. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev.
C.P. Kelly who chose for a text, Matthew 18:1-7. Interment was made in the Coffelt
Cemetery on Monday November 7, 1910. The Democrat joins with the many friends of the
bereaved parents and extends sympathy to them in this their darkest hour of trouble.
Friends, be consoled by the blessed thought that God has crowned your precious one as one
of his own.
