Alma Jo was born March 22, 1926 in Snyder, Oklahoma the daughter of William B. and Kate
(Ross) Broome. She graduated from Richmond High School in Richmond, California. She was
a dietitian for the VA Hospital in Martinez, California. She was an avid gardener and loved
to be in her garden. She enjoyed reading her bible and putting photo albums together.
Survivors include children Joyce (Holland) Wiler of Austin, Texas, Linda (Duane) Lower of
Palocedro, California and Alton (Maureen) Coffelt of El Dorado, Kansas; nine grandchildren,
twenty-four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death
by parents, four brothers and four sisters.
